Barry and I are amazed at how many organizations have asked us to do seminars to teach students and instructors how to use the tips and ideas in Practicing Sucks.  They really work. Students have told us they can learn practically anything two to four times faster, using the ideas in the book.  If you will send us your book after you have purchased it, we’ll be glad to autograph it, and remember The Sdoia-Satz Method (that’s what is in the book) works for ANYTHING, well, PRACTICALLY ANYTHING requiring learning, studying, memorizing and repetition.

  1. I plan to use the book to help my daughter learn to practice better on her violin. That’s what’s really wrong. The kid juast doesn’t seem to get anything out of her practice. And she never stays at it long enough to accomplish anything. Ten – fifteen minutes and she’s done. How can anyone learn anything in ten or fifteen minutes. Do you have any answers for that problem, Ms. Sdoia-Satz? Oh by the way, Practicing Sucks, But It Doesn’t Have To! is such a catchy title. A person can relieve anger and frustration just by saying it.

    Anyhow, I’d really appreciate an answer about my daughter’s practice.Thanks.
